I'm super excited about this discovery (thanks Country Living Magazine!)....have you guys heard about Foodzie.com? It's like an online Farmer's Market and it has goodies from all over the country. You can also look at it as an etsy.com for food artisans and there is stuff on here you couldn't find in your local stores. The products are broken up in categories like sauces & condiments, cheese & dairy, bakery, meat & seafood, produce, and lots more. I love the "Discover" section which lets you find local food artisans so you can support their businesses. Everything is reasonably priced and I was actually surprised about things didn't cost more. The shipping is a flat rate of $7 or free if order is over $100 so you're able to load your virtual cart with as much as your stomach can handle, very dangerous. They also have gift cards, such a great idea for birthday and housewarming presents. Believe me, there is something on there for everyone and Foodzie.com has a tool to help you find the perfect gift for someone in case you want to send them the real deal. Another cool part is the Blogger Picks section where you can read about favorite items of others. Some of the things I'm buying today are Wild Blackberry Honey from Honey Ridge Farms, Pesto Cheddar Cheese from Otter Creek Organic Farm, and p.o.p. candy's Chai Tea Granola Pecan Bars. Can't wait for them to arrive!
